Tamburafest 2024 is an event celebrating Croatian tamburica music and is held annually each fall. In total, approximately 10 tamburica orchestras from our different Croatian cultural groups that are members of the Canadian Croatian Folklore Federation – East. Tamburafest 2024 will be held at the all new Santo Cristo Banquet Hall which has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation. We anticipate 600 attendees at the event.

Tamburafest 2024 will commemorate 14 years since Croatoan last hosted Tamburafest. Our goal is to make this year’s Tamburafest the most memorable ever for our attendees and to be a showcase for our group and for Tamburica music, with a combination Croatian folklore and pop songs even some renditions of popular English songs of different genres on the Tamburica. To achieve this goal, and to be able to hold the event in this optimal venue in Ottawa, our budget
for this event is estimated at $25,000.00, for which we are using sponsorship package as our main source of fundraising.
